Regular Members

In accordance with Article 6 of OSDEL’s articles of association, the status of partner (full member) of the organisation may be acquired by any contractual partner meeting the conditions of one of the categories set out below:

a) creators of literary works who have had at least six (6) different works published in Greece or abroad, which have been reproduced in a total of at least 6,000 copies;

b) creators of non‑fiction and/or scientific works who have had at least three (3) different works published in Greece or abroad, which have been reproduced in a total of at least 1,500 copies, or who have had at least thirty (30) articles published in reputable scientific journals;

c) journalists who practice journalism as their main profession and who have specialised in the creation of written content (for print or online media) for a period of at least three years, excluding radio and television;

d) illustrators and creators of visual artworks who have had their works published in at least ten different books or magazines;

e) photographers who have had at least 100 photographs published in a newspaper or magazine;

(f) publishers, legal or natural persons, whose gross revenue from the wholesaling of books in the last three years prior to submission of their application for registration reached at least an average of EUR 100,000 per year, or publishers with an average circulation of at least 2,000 copies per issue over a three-year period, or magazine publishers who published and circulated at least four (4) issues per year over a three-year period.

In order for any person become a member of the organisation, they must submit a written application to the Board of Directors.

The acquisition of partner status is decided by the Board of Directors subsequent to receipt of the respective application from the interested party. The registration of new members must be approved by the General Meeting. The same General Meeting shall also decide on registration applications rejected by the Board of Directors.

A registration fee of EUR 50 for creators and EUR 300 for publishers is required to register as a member, as well as the payment of the value of the cooperative share, which amounts to EUR 50. ( Articles of Association – Article 6 )
