OSDEL represents more than 1,100 Greek publishing companies:
- Book publishers
- Publishers of newspapers and general-interest magazines in printed or electronic form
- Publishers of scientific and thematic journals, book review and literary magazines in printed or electronic form
If you belong to one of the above categories and wish to assign the management of your rights to OSDEL, you need to conclude an assignment contract between your publishing company and our Organisation.

Yes. Publications published in a foreign language may be registered, as long as they are circulated within Greece.
To participate in the Organisation’s distributions, you must have signed a contract with OSDEL.
After contacting OSDEL to conclude a contract, you will be sent an e-mail with your personal credentials and details of the submission procedure.
In order to sign a contract with OSDEL, please send your details (trade name, distinctive title, imprints, TIN) by e-mail to the Contractual Partners Department at members@osdel.gr.
A general criterion of average annual sales exceeding 301 copies applies for subscription magazines. To certify circulation, you must submit supporting documents (delivery notes, post office receipts).
Communication between OSDEL and contractual publishers takes place exclusively via the e-mail address indicated upon the conclusion of the contract. Announcements are also posted on OSDEL’s website, www.osdel.gr
Books are registered in the BookPoint bibliographic database by the contractual publishers. Once the contract is concluded, they receive detailed instructions on how to register their books in BookPoint.
The distribution for each category is conducted once a year. OSDEL is obliged to announce the deadlines for the submission of declarations and the details of the procedure to be followed in each distribution category for the year on its website by the 31st January of each year. Declarations are submitted electronically through the respective OSDEL platform or by completion and submission of the appropriate form.
